Policies & Terms of Service

By booking a makeup appointment with BellaX Makeup ("Artist", "we", "our", "us"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies and terms.

1. Booking & Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.


  • Appointments are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

  • Deposits are applied toward the final balance of the service.

  • Deposits are non-refundable except where required by law.

  • Appointment dates and times cannot be held without a deposit.

  • Failure to pay the deposit may result in cancellation of the booking request.

2. Final Payment

The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the makeup service.


  • Payment must be made before leaving the studio.

  • No makeup service photos, touch-up kits, or other deliverables will be released until payment is received in full.

  • Failure to pay may result in collection efforts and legal remedies where permitted by law.

3. Client Satisfaction & Approval

Client satisfaction is extremely important.

At the conclusion of the service:


  • The client will be given an opportunity to thoroughly inspect their makeup.

  • The client may request reasonable adjustments during the appointment.

  • The artist will make reasonable modifications when possible and within the scheduled appointment time.

  • Once the client verbally approves the makeup and leaves the studio, the service is considered accepted and completed.

By leaving the appointment without requesting changes, the client acknowledges that they are satisfied with the completed service.

4. No Refund Policy

Due to the time, labor, sanitation procedures, and cosmetic products used, all makeup services are final.

Refunds will not be provided because:


  • The client changed their mind.

  • The client later decides they would have preferred a different style.

  • The client removes or alters the makeup after leaving.

  • The client fails to follow aftercare instructions.

  • The client receives negative comments or differing opinions from friends, family members, social media users, or third parties.

Any concerns must be addressed before leaving the appointment.

5. Makeup Style & Expectations

The artist will make every effort to achieve the client's desired look.

However:


  • Makeup is an artistic service and results may vary.

  • Lighting, photography, skin condition, skin texture, skin tone, skincare products, weather, and personal preferences can affect the final appearance.

  • Reference photos are used as inspiration only and cannot be guaranteed to be duplicated exactly.

  • Results may vary from edited social media images, filters, professional studio photography, or AI-enhanced images.

6. Allergies & Skin Conditions

Clients are responsible for disclosing:


  • Allergies

  • Sensitivities

  • Skin conditions

  • Medical conditions that may affect makeup application

  • Recent cosmetic procedures

The artist is not responsible for reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies or medical conditions.

Patch testing may be recommended for sensitive clients.

Clients receive services at their own risk.

7. Sanitation & Hygiene

The artist follows professional sanitation practices.

For health and safety reasons:


  • Clients must arrive with reasonably clean skin.

  • Clients experiencing contagious illnesses may be refused service.

  • The artist reserves the right to refuse service if health concerns are present.

  • Disposable tools may be used when necessary.

  • Products and brushes are sanitized between clients.

8. Right to Refuse Service

The artist reserves the right to refuse or terminate service if:


  • A client behaves aggressively or disrespectfully.

  • A client is intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

  • A client creates an unsafe environment.

  • Health concerns make it unsafe to proceed.

  • A client requests services that fall outside the artist's professional scope.

If service is refused for these reasons, deposits may be forfeited.

9. Late Arrivals

Clients are expected to arrive on time.


  • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened service.

  • Arrivals more than 20 minutes late may result in cancellation.

  • Full service fees may still apply.

10. No-Shows

Clients who fail to attend their appointment without notice are considered no-shows.


  • Deposits will be forfeited.

  • Future bookings may require full payment in advance.

  • Repeat no-shows may be permanently refused future appointments.

11. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be provided as early as possible.


  • Deposits remain non-refundable.

  • Rescheduling requests are subject to availability.

  • Multiple cancellations may result in booking restrictions.

12. Home Studio Policies

BellaX Makeup operates from a private home studio.

For the comfort, privacy, and safety of all parties:


  • The studio address is provided only to confirmed clients.

  • Unscheduled visits are not permitted.

  • Children and additional guests are not permitted unless previously approved.

  • Pets are not permitted.

  • Clients must respect the private residence and surrounding property.

Failure to follow these rules may result in termination of service.

13. Photography & Social Media

The artist may photograph completed makeup work for portfolio, marketing, educational, website, and social media purposes.

By booking an appointment, clients grant permission unless they specifically request otherwise in writing before the appointment.

Clients who decline photography will continue to receive the same quality of service.

14. Makeup Longevity

The artist cannot guarantee how long makeup will last.

Longevity may be affected by:


  • Skin type

  • Weather

  • Humidity

  • Sweating

  • Tears

  • Touching the face

  • Skincare products

  • Medical conditions

  • Environmental factors

Results vary between individuals.

15. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BellaX Makeup and its representatives shall not be liable for:


  • Allergic reactions

  • Skin irritation

  • Cosmetic sensitivities

  • Dissatisfaction after approval of the completed service

  • Indirect or consequential damages

  • Losses arising from events beyond the artist's control

The client's sole responsibility is to communicate concerns before leaving the appointment.

16. Reviews, Feedback & Communication

We welcome honest feedback and strive to resolve concerns professionally.

Clients agree to:


  • Communicate concerns directly with the artist before posting public reviews whenever possible.

  • Allow the artist a reasonable opportunity to address concerns.

Nothing in this policy restricts a client's legal right to leave honest reviews. However, false statements, harassment, threats, defamatory remarks, or knowingly misleading claims may be subject to legal remedies where permitted by law.

17. Studio Safety & Security

For safety and security purposes:


  • Security cameras may be present in common areas of the property where permitted by law.

  • Theft, vandalism, threats, or harassment will be reported to authorities.

  • The artist reserves the right to cancel appointments that pose safety concerns.

18. Force Majeure

The artist shall not be responsible for delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:


  • Severe weather

  • Power outages

  • Natural disasters

  • Illness

  • Government restrictions

  • Emergencies

Appointments affected by such events may be rescheduled.

19. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, paying a deposit, attending an appointment, or receiving services from BellaX Makeup, the client confirms that they:


  • Have read these policies.

  • Understand these policies.

  • Agree to these policies.

  • Consent to the services being provided under these terms.

Client Acknowledgement

By submitting a booking and paying a deposit, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to all BellaX Makeup Services Policies and Terms of Service. I understand that all sales are final, the remaining balance is due immediately after the service is completed, and I will be given the opportunity to inspect and approve my makeup before leaving the studio.
